Available from 27 to 80 ft base size, transport height from 11'8" - 17'9", transport width of 17'8" - 20'6" and shank spacing of 7.2",10" or 12". Choose from a wide range of opener and press wheel options to suit your operation. The Flex Hoe series features a flexible folding frame design that provides easy transport but still offers wide working widths for greater productivity, allowing you to hit that critical seeding window.
CURRENT MODELS:
Flex Hoe 400- The Flex Hoe 400 air drill is available in five base sizes, ranging from 27 to 57 feet (8.2 to 17.4 m). Its flexible frame follows field contours to maintain the seeding depth you choose.
Flex Hoe 700- The Flex Hoe 700 is available in either a 60 ft (18.3 m), 70 ft (21.4 m) or 80 ft (24.4 m) width with shank spacing ranging from 7.2 in to 12 in (18.3 cm to 30.5 cm).
Flex Hoe 900- The Flex Hoe™ 900 air drill is available in either a 50-foot (15.2 m), 60-foot (18.3 m) or 70-foot (21.3 m) width with shank spacing ranging from 10 inches to 12 inches (25.4 cm to 30.5 cm).
OPENERS: Get Accurate Placement and Higher Yields Flex Hoe openers are designed to optimize input placement by providing effective ground penetration and maintaining consistent depth.
PARALLEL LINK OPENER- The parallel link opener, available on the Flex Hoe 900 features a shorter distance from bar to opener offers precise depth control with less up and down movement. Parallel links maintain opener depth and orientation.
In-Cab Down Pressure Control the down pressure of the opener and frame can be controlled from the cab through an intuitive run screen interface. This allows the operator to adjust as field conditions change.
Easy Depth Adjustment The Quick-Lock depth adjuster is positioned at waist height with presets for easy, one-handed, tool-free depth adjustments on each row opener.
SPRING SHANK OPENER- Rugged C-Shank Design 50-degree C-shank available on the Flex Hoe 400 and 700 models, 7.5, 10 and 12-inch spacing for the 60' model,10 and 12-inch spacing for the 70' model.
Trip Options for the Flex Hoe 400 and 700 models feature trip options to suit your soil type are 350-lb trips for most soil types and 550-lb trips for rugged conditions and double-shoot applications.
Edge-On Shank for Reduced Ground Disturbance with 84-Degrees edge-on shank available on the Flex Hoe 700 Offers reduced Ground Disturbance and increased residue flow and 10 or 12-inch shank spacing on both 60' and 70' models.
Seeding Options for the Flex Hoe 400 and 700 models can be configured for single or double-shoot application.
KNIFE OPTIONS: Double-Shoot with a Single Shank a patented design allows for double-shoot application of two products from a single knife. This reduces soil disruption and provides cleaner application.
Stealth Knives offers a choice of low disturbance knife tips or a selection of spread tips for single-shoot applications. Stealth double shoot side band or paired row attachments deliver one-pass seed and fertilizer placement.
Rugged Knives for Every Soil, Knives include carbide tips and hardened surface for longevity.
Nok-On for Quick Change sweeps provide the ability to quickly switch sweeps, along with either a narrow or wide opener, to add maximum versatility to your seeding system.
FRAME: The Flex Hoe air drill is designed to be big in the field and compact in transport. The rugged frame folds quickly to get you in and out of the field faster. Its flexibility enables better ground following for optimal seed placement. And the choice of width options from 27 to 80 ft allow you to work more area with each pass.
Flexibility- Utilizes 6" x 10" x 3.8" (15 cm x 25 cm x 9.5 cm) wall tubes to support the row unit carrying sub-frame.
Each frame section can be adjusted to increase or decrease weight.
+/- 15 degrees of frame flex on individual sections.
Frame sections are welded onto the sturdy 12 x 12 main frame.
Quick Fold- Tubes are oriented in a "V" to distribute the weight of the main frame, adding additional support and stability during transport.
Narrow transport widths for safe roading.
Simple folding procedure the Flex Hoe 900 can even be folded from the cab.
Rear-fold design allows for more tires to contact the road.
Unique rear-hitch design allows transport without disconnecting the air system.
PACKING CONFIGURATIONS: Versatility to Fit Your Operating Style The Flex Hoe air drill offer a parallel link packing system on the Flex Hoe 900 or an in-line gang packing system and the optional walking gang option on the 700 model.
On-row Press Wheel- A feature of the parallel link system
Optimum distance between knife opener and press wheel, controlled by the Quick-Lock wheel.
Packing force is fixed in relation to the trip force.
In-Line Gang Packing System- Available with narrower wheels widths
Choose from steel wheels or pneumatic rubber that require no air pressure maintenance.
Available on the Flex Hoe 400 and Flex Hoe 700
Walking-Beam Packing System- Allows 5" to 7" wide seed rows to be packed consistently across the full width of the row.
Each tire can be adjusted to the packing pressure needed for various soil conditions.

WHEEL OPTIONS: Consistent Packing with a Choice of Press Wheels for optimal germination, a variety of press wheels are offered to match your soil types and seeding environment. Optional mud scrapers handle mud buildup in damp or fine clay soils.
Steel Press Wheels- Ideal for sandy and rocky soil conditions
A V-profile concentrates packing pressure onto a smaller area for higher pressure on the seed..
