Enhanced Case IH Axial-Flow 150 series combines increase productivity, featuring the legendary single rotor technology, combined with the Cross-Flow cleaning system and increased grain handling capacity to help you put more high-quality grain in the tank. High-Efficiency Combines With Built-in Economy Perfect for owner operators and fleet operations, the 150 series Axial-Flow combines deliver maximum peace of mind through a simple-to-operate, efficient and reliable design featuring a belt-driven rotor.
CURRENT MODELS:
ENGINE: With proven Tier 4 B/Final emissions-certified 6.7 L to 8.7 L engines, up to 375 engine horsepower at 2100 engine RPMs and up to 300-bu. capacity, they give you the same superior grain quality, grain savings and value as the larger 250 series.
FEEDING SYSTEM: Get the job done right with high-capacity features and heavy-duty rotary feeding systems. Enhance crop flow and improve feeding into the combine, resulting in smooth crop flow and reduced wear.
Headers- Improved and expanded header lineup provides the latest in harvesting technology. The following headers are available on the 150 series: Corn, Draper, Flex Auger, Grain and Pickup.
Feeder House- Added eight pitch spacing and positioning of the slats and feeder chain help move material faster and more consistently toward the transition cone.
Feeder Gearbox- Lower feeder gearbox handles the high horsepower requirements of chopping corn heads and larger headers
TRANSMISSION:Two-speed Electric Shift Transmission Provides Seamless Control whether you want simplicity and convenience or superior control, Case IH Axial-Flow combines are available with the single rotor technology that is right for you. Our 150 series delivers proven technology through a simple, efficient and reliable belt-driven rotor design.
Electric Shift Transmission- High- and low-speed ranges allow you to take on different field conditions without shifting
Pump Drives/Separator Drives- Improved PTO gear case design ensures pumps and drives are operating efficiently at a lower 2,100 rpm
THRESHING & SEPARATING: Control Your Harvest we pioneered single rotor development back in the 1960s. Since then, refinements, enhancements and improvements have led to the pinnacle in rotor performance the AFX rotor. The AFX rotor can be set into many configurations, adapting to both crop and threshing conditions.
Transition Cone and Rotor Impellers- Patented transition cone vanes and rotor impellers sweep crop from the feeder and gently accelerate it to threshing speed
AFX Rotor- 30-inch diameter AFX rotor design provides gentle, multiple-pass, grain-on-grain threshing along with centrifugal force separation.
Modules and Grates- Lightweight split concave design divides each of the three previous sections into two pieces, providing six lightweight concaves.
Rotor Cage- Rotor cage delivers gentle, multiple-pass, grain-on-grain threshing and smoother crop flow
Rotor Cage Vanes- Adjustable, bolted in cage vanes
Rotor Drive- Reliable belt-driven rotor design
CLEANING SYSTEM: Handle Greater Capacity on Uneven Terrain High-capacity combines need large high-capacity cleaning systems. Axial-Flow combines match cleaning system capacity to the size of the machine, providing superior productivity, grain sample quality and savings. The Cross Flow cleaning fan uses its patented design to deliver consistently clean grain samples no matter the harvest condition.
Auger Bed- Designed to move grain more efficiently, the six-auger system helps deliver up to a maximum 5,000 bushels per hour.
Cross Flow Fan- After entering the fan, a vortex is created, which super charges the air flow, giving a full-balanced flow across the entire sieve.
Cross Flow Cleaning System- In-cab sensor automatically detects when you’re maneuvering on uneven ground.
Tailings Design- Repositioned tailings elevator allows greater access to the right side of the combine for easier service and maintenance.
RESIDUE MANAGEMENT: The Case IH residue management system is built to handle the tough residue associated with new crop genetics. This system delivers consistency across the larger header widths used on the Axial-Flow 150 series combines, helps prepare the ground for next year’s crop and can create consistent windrow formations and long straw for baling. From tillage to livestock demands, we offer the widest range of residue management features on the market.
Rotor discharge deflector- Positioned directly behind the rotor, deflects residue to a central feeding point toward the chopper.
Chopper- Blades are mounted in a chevron pattern, providing better chop quality.
Windrow Chute- Two residue modes (spread and windrow) provide options to meet your residue requirements and improve straw quality.
Hydraulically Driven Spreader- Hydraulically driven residue spreaders are adjustable in-cab for on-the-go speed control from 300 to 750 rpm.
GRAIN HANDLING: Large grain tanks, longer augers and quick-folding tool-free grain tank extensions are standard on all Axial-Flow combine models resulting in more efficient field operation.
Clean-grain Elevator- Larger clean-grain elevator designed to match greater throughput and capacity, up to 5,000 bushels an hour
Easy Access Cleanout- Auger trough slides can be easily removed for quick, convenient cleanout of the clean-grain and tailings augers.
High Unload Rates- Thanks to high unload rates, grain carts spend less time in the field and under the unloading auger
Grain Tank- 300 bushels on 5150, 6150 and 7150
Unload Auger Options- 21 feet 6 inches for up to 30-foot headers (standard)
Pivoting Spout: Optional pivoting spout increases unload efficiency: helps control the grain stream up to 3 feet all from inside the cab.
OPERATORS ENVIRONMENT: Unmatched Comfort, Visibility and Control with one of the largest and quietest cabs among the foremost combine manufacturers, the Axial-Flow cab gives you industry-leading glass and unsurpassed sight lines so you can keep an eye on the entire header. With its ergonomic and intuitive design, you get maximized comfort and productivity. Climb up and enjoy - this is what leadership looks like.
Mobile Office- Standard AM/FM Weather band radio: 3.5 mm Aux jack on radio, 2 speakers
Right Hand Console- On 250 series combines, the AFS Pro 700 display is located on the right-hand console on a side rail for ease of viewing.
Lighting- Chrome bezel around lights
Instructional Seat / Work Area- Cloth or optional leather seats
Steering Column & Steering Wheel- Allows for improved movement and increased visibility while seated
Portable Electric Refrigerator- The training seat houses a portable electric fridge; Standard on Luxury cab option.
Deluxe Cab Trim Option-
